There is a common misconception that Ash is only for rushing/playing aggresive.
The first thing you should think of when playing ash is whether or not you can attack the objective vertically or not. Ash’s gadget is amazing for vertical gameplay and you will be surprised how much more kills you will pick up.
The second tip is making sure you have the right kit for ash. The statistically best kit for Ash is the R4-C with the reflex or holo (since they are taking away acog :/) and the 1911 pistol (don’t know the name) with flash bangs. Another thing with ash does involve the rushing mentality.
When playing Ash (or any op) drone out your entire desired path of attack, and continue checking your drone to make sure. If you locate an enemy, put those flash bangs to work and kill him. In conclusion, Ash can be a very strong operator when played correctly.
